Proving he can do nothing half-assed, the “Mission: Impossible” star used his guest appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” to not just plug his upcoming movie, but to also remind people why he’s such a beloved movie star (if not human being) in the first place.
Employing heavy production value with clearly-rehearsed camera angles, well-timed interjections from the band and a final number for the ages, Cruise dominated the popular “Lip-Sync Battle” segment of Fallon’s “Tonight Show” tenure unlike anyone who’s graced the stage before.
