Venice Film Festival: Enter To Win Online Festival Pass For Venice Sala Web

The oldest film festival in the world is turning 73 this year, and IndieWire is partnering with Festival Scope to give 10 lucky readers the chance to win an online festival pass to the Venice Film Festival‘s Sala Web program. Can’t make it all the way to Venice this year? Fortunately, you won’t have to.

This year’s Sala Web lineup includes titles from the festival’s Orizzonti section and from Biennale College, in addition to a select group of titles picked from various other sidebars. Highlights include “The Orchard Seller,” by 2015 Golden Lion winner Lorenzo Vigas, and new features from international directors like Wang Bing, Parviz Shahbazi, Tim Sutton and Jessica Woodworth. Sala Web screenings will be hosted on a secure site operated by Festival Scope on behalf of the Venice Film Festival. Digital tickets for Sala Web screenings are on sale right now and can be purchased here. Only 400 tickets will be available for each film, and users will be able to screen the film once during a 10 day period beginning the day of the film’s official premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
Luckily, Festival Scope is giving IndieWire readers the chance to register for a free online festival pass in advanced of the festival’s kickoff. Now through August 31, readers can click here for the registration form and sign up for a chance to win one of 10 online passes. Each pass comes with five tickets for five movies of the reader’s choosing. You have to use this registration form by August 31 order for a chance to win. The first online film premiere is September 1, while the rest of the titles will become available on September 10.
