Watch: Dive Into HBO’s Haunting ‘The Leftovers’ With These Clips & Photos From Sunday’s Premiere

This Sunday HBO will premiere the first episode of Damon Lindelof‘s much-anticipated apocalyptic series “The Leftovers.” To ease your waiting pains, the network has released two clips and some photos from the series’ first episode.

The series follows a group of residents in Mapleton, NY three years after a random event caused the disappearance of 2 percent of the world’s population. The all-star cast includes Justin Theroux, Amy Brenneman, Ann Dowd, Christopher Eccleston and Liv Tyler.

The first clip is an eerie look at the sudden disappearance of people and the subsequent chaos that ensues in “The Leftovers” world. The second is a glimpse of the present, where residents of Mapleton are still coping.
