On the heels of its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier last month, Variety report that Starz has picked up the U.S. rights to “The Family Fang,” Jason Bateman‘s sophomore directorial feature starring Nicole Kidman, Christopher Walken and Bateman himself.
Adapted from the novel of the same name by Kevin Wilson and penned by “Rabbit Hole” writer David Lindsay-Abaire, “The Family Fang” is a dark comedy featuring Kidman and Bateman as siblings whose attempt to reconnect with their parents over the course of a chaotic family weekend is thrown for a loop when their performance artist parents turn up missing.
Starz is preparing the film for a 2016 theatrical release.
