‘The Thinning’ Trailer: Logan Paul & Peyton List Star In Post-Apocalyptic Thriller From YouTube Red
Since it was launched in 2014, YouTube Red has produced a number of original series along with six features that have all premiered in 2016. Their latest film is the post-apocalyptic thriller “The Thinning,” a collaboration between YouTube and Legendary Digital. Watch the trailer for the film below.
Set in a future society where standardized tests determine whether students literally live or die, two students (Logan Paul and Peyton List) discover the test hides a vast conspiracy, they must go all the way to the top to bring the system down. The film also stars Lia Marie Johnson (“Expelled”) and Calum Worthy (“Austin & Ally”).
Paul and List are well-known figures on social media, both of whom have over 38 million combined followers. List is best known for her roles in the Disney Channel original series “Jessie” as well as “The Diary of a Wimpy Kid” film series. Paul, on the other hand, has mostly done TV guest work on ”Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” before getting the lead role on the show ”Foursome.”
