'Inside Llewyn Davis,' 'Fruitvale Station' Lead Gotham Award Winners

Joel & Ethan Coen’s “Inside Llewyn Davis” won top honors at the 23rd Gotham Independent Film Awards, which saw a complete shut out for nomination leader “12 Years a Slave.” “12 Years” had been nominated for best feature, best actor, best breakthrough actor and the audience award, but didn’t win any of them. Instead, Ryan Coogler’s “Fruitvale Station” won the most trophies with two, while “Llewyn Davis,” “Short Term 12,” “Dallas Buyers Club,” “The Act of Killing” and “Jake Shimabukuro: Life on Four Strings” each won one each.
