Watch: Ewan McGregor and Brenton Thwaites Cause Trouble in ‘Son of a Gun’ Trailer

Earlier this year we experienced “The Rover,” a futuristic crime thriller with Robert Pattinson and Guy Pearce. Now, with “Son of a Gun,” we’re back down under, this time looking at the relationship between a 19-year-old and Australia’s most wanted criminal. 

“Son of a Gun” follows JR (“The Giver’s” Brenton Thwaites) who, after getting imprisoned for a small crime, forms an alliance with Brendan (Ewan McGregor), a man who happens to be the most dangerous man in Australia. Written and directed by Julius Avery, the crime drama also stars rising star Alicia Vikander.
