What Expect From PaleyFest LA: Complete 2015 Panel Guide from 'Homeland' 'Outlander'

Beginning this Friday, March 6, The Paley Center for Media will be turning the Dolby Theater into PaleyFest Los Angeles, a nine day television festival celebrating some of the small screen’s most critically acclaimed and fan favorite titles. Panels for hit shows include “Girls,” “Scandal,” “Outlander” and “Arrow,” and fans can rest assured all of their beloved stars will be in attendance for Q&As moderated by some of the industry’s leading talents. Best of all, the Paley Center is partnering with Yahoo! Live in order to live steam all 11 panels throughout the week, bringing PaleyFest LA right into living rooms across the country. Head over to the PaleyFest LA website for more details, including ticketing information, and read below for a complete panel rundown of PaleyFest LA 2015.

“Homeland” – March 6, 7pm PT

It was the television comeback to end all television comebacks. After an uneven third season left fans and critics questioning their loyalty to the Showtime political thriller, “Homeland” roared back to life with an electrifying fourth season full of the character-driven suspense that made the show such a high stakes drama in the first place. Moderated by Julie Chen (“The Talk”), the panel will include SAG-nominated cast members Claire Danes, Mandy Patinkin, Tracy Letts and Mark Moses alongside Executive Producers Alex Gansa and Lesli Linka Glatter, writers Alex Cary, Patrick Harbinson, Chip Johannessen and Meredith Stiehm, and composer Sean Callery. Live steam the event here.

A Salute to Comedy Central – March 7, 12pm PT

The funny bone might not be able to handle this massive assembling of Comedy Central’s biggest and most hilarious stars. As if “Key & Peele” duo Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele weren’t enough, the Comedy Central salute will also feature Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer of “Broad City,” Nick Kroll of the departing “Kroll Show,” Andy Daly of “Review,” and Blake Anderson, Adam DeVine, Anders Holm and Kyle Newacheck of “Workaholics.” Grantland’s Andy Greenwald will moderate. Live stream the event here.

“The Good Wife” – March 7, 8pm PT

Before he takes the reigns of “The Late Late Show” on CBS, British comedian James Corden will moderate the panel for channel-mate “The Good Wife.” Currently in its sixth season, “The Good Wife” continues to be a landmark drama on procedural-obsessed network television thanks to its serial storytelling and high-caliber acting. Creators and Executive Producers Robert King and Michelle King will be joined by stars Julianna Margulies, Christine Baranski and Matt Czuchry. Live steam the event here.

“Girls” – March 8, 1pm PT

It’s a family affair as Executive Producer Judd Apatow moderates the “Girls” panel with Lena Dunham, Allison Williams, Alex Karpovsky and Andrew Rannells. The current fourth season of the HBO hit has been the most progressive for its main quartet of characters, and with a fifth season renewal already in the bag, there won’t be a shortage of talking points for the cast. Executive Producers Jenni Konner, Bruce Eric Kaplan and Ilene S. Landress will also be in attendance. Live steam the event here.

“Scandal” – March 8, 7pm PT

Four seasons in and Shonda Rhimes’ juicy political drama is still a buzzworthy titan of network television. ABC’s late night guru Jimmy Kimmel will be leading the discussion with the show’s stacked ensemble, including Kerry Washington, Guillermo Diaz, Scott Foley, Tony Goldwyn, Katie Lowes, Joshua Malina, Jeff Perry, Darby Stanchfield, Bellamy Young and Joe Morton. Live stream the event here.

“Teen Wolf” – March 11, 7pm PT

MTV has been trying to enter the original scripted programming game with various degrees of success over the past couple of years, and “Teen Wolf” is unquestionably their biggest hit to date. The supernatural drama series has carved out an enthusiastic cult fanbase that should be quite vocal when stars Tyler Posey, Dylan O’Brien, Holland Roden, Dylan Sprayberry, Shelley Hennig and Arden Cho take the Dolby Theater stage with Executive Producer Jeff Davis. Buzzfeed’s Jarett Wieselman will moderate. Live stream the event here.

“Outlander” – March 12, 7pm PT

Based on the bestselling novels by Diana Gabaldon, “Outlander” has already become a flagship drama for Starz after only half a season. Before the next batch of new episodes kicks off in April, the show is giving fans a reason to celebrate with a panel featuring Gabaldon, Executive Producer Ronald D. Moore and stars Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan and Tobias Menzies. Here’s hoping E! News’ Kristin Dos Santos can wrangle a few secrets out of the second half of the season. Live steam the event here.

“Glee” Farewell – March 13, 7pm PT

After six seasons full of musical interludes, FOX’s “Glee” is signing off for good on March 20th. Although the show may be ending as a former shell of itself and with record low viewership, it’s impossible to deny the groundbreaking nature of the once popular series. PaleyFest is honoring the show with a Q&A panel devoted to stars Jane Lynch, Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Amber Riley, Mark Salling, Heather Morris, Chord Overstreet, Darren Criss and Dot-Marie Jones. Entertainment Weekly’s Tim Stack will moderate. Live stream the event here.

“Arrow” & “The Flash” – March 14, 4pm PT

The first time CW superheroes Arrow and The Flash crossed over, it resulted in record-breaking viewership for both programs, and the network will certainly strike gold again with this star-studded double panel session moderated by Aisha Tyler of “The Talk.” Team “Flash” will include Executive Producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg opposite stars Grant Gustin, Jesse L. Martin, Tom Cavanagh, Candice Patton, Rick Cosnett, Danielle Panabaker, and Carlos Valdes. “Arrow” cast members include Colton Haynes, Emily Bett Rickards, John Barrowman, Katie Cassidy, Willa Holland, David Ramsey and Paul Blackthorne. Live stream “The Flash” here. Live steam “Arrow” here.

“Modern Family” – March 14, 8pm PT

ABC’s flagship series has won the Emmy for Best Comedy Series five years in a row, so it’s safe to expect the same kind of hilarious chemistry that has driven the show through six seasons when stars Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, Ed O’Neill, Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter and Nolan Gould take the stage. Co-creator and  Executive Producer Steve Levitan will join his award-winning ensemble. Live stream the event here.

“Jane the Virgin” – March 15, 4pm PT

If we had to guess, the most charming panel will certainly be for the CW’s breakout freshman comedy-drama “Jane the Virgin.” Golden Globe winner Gina Rodriguez will be joined by Executive Producer Ben Silverman, Showrunner Jennie Urman and co-stars Andrea Navedo, Jaime Camil, Ivonne Coll, Brett Dier, Justin Baldoni and Yael Grobglas. Expect a ton of the telenovela spirit that makes the show so infectious. Live steam the event here.

“American Horror Story: Freak Show” – March 15, 8pm PT

There are few better ways to end a television festival than with the acclaimed ensemble of Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story: Freak Show.” Leading lady Jessica Lange is still a question mark, but expect Executive Producer Tim Minear and stars Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Michael Chiklis, Evan Peters, Emma Roberts, Denis O’Hare and Finn Wittrock to dissect “Freak Show” from top to bottom. PaleyFest is noting that “other panelists will be announced,” so keep an eye out for Lange or upcoming “Hotel” additions such as Lady Gaga. Live stream the event here.
