The X-Files,” as it exists on television, has always been nothing short of art, in and of itself. But that doesn’t mean some of today’s finest modern artists don’t have takes of their own that are equally inventive, enthralling and inspired.

Creative production company iam8bit, co-owned and operated by Jon M. Gibson and Amanda White, has gathered such pieces together for “Conspiracies, Monsters and Mythology: An X-Files Art Show.” A VIP preview is set for Thursday night — with veteran “X-FIles” writers Darin Morgan and Glen Morgan in attendance — before opening to the public through February 14.

Consisting of limited edition artwork and exclusively licensed products, iam8bit has brought together more than 30 artists to commemorate the ongoing legacy of “The X-Files.” Take a look at some of the selected works in our photo gallery below, and head over to iam8bit’s website starting Thursday at 7pm ET to buy pieces as they’re made available online. Those of you in the Los Angeles area can head over to 2147 W Sunset Blvd from Friday, February 5 through the 14th to see the artwork in person.

“The X-Files” airs the fourth episode (“Home Again”) of its new six-episode season Monday, February 8 at 8pm.
