Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA and Interpol‘s Paul Banks teamed up to create a new musical project together under the name Banks & Steelz. Their first track premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show and is titled “Love + War” featuring Ghostface Killah. Now, the music video for the collaboration has been released.

Directed by Arms Race, the video to the hip-hop, upbeat tune is filmed like a Quentin Tarantino-esque short film beginning with some dialogue and then revisiting the iconic ear scene in the 1992 classic movie, “Reservoir Dogs.” Let it be noted that RZA and the “Pulp Fiction” helmer have previously worked together in the past. The rapper forms part of the soundtracks for the “Kill Bill” film series.

The music video features the artists as hired gunmen, with men being tortured and a damsel in distress.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, RZA explained how the project came about, “My manager came to me and said, ‘Who do you want to do an album with?’ I said, ‘Well, Paul just has an energy about him. I think if we put our sandwich together it will be great.'”

The duo is set to play the upcoming FYF Fest in Los Angeles, Life Is Beautiful in Las Vegas ad Austin City Limits Festival. Details of their debut album are scarce but is expected to be released later this year.
