Kickstarter’s New Spotlight Feature Goes Beyond Funding

Kickstarter has taken crowdfunding to the next level with the introduction of Spotlight: a new design feature that provides fully-funded projects with the means to document and share the ins and outs of their journey to the finish line.

Using Spotlight, projects have the opportunity to not only continue their public engagement with their financial supporters, but also build out audience numbers as a project comes together. The clean, easy to read timeline format, which presents the history of a project from launch to completion, makes for an attractive tool.
