Comedy Central‘s mock press conference declared an end to the #FindForrest campaign. After Forrest MacNeil (Andy Daly) quit his job as life critic at the end of “Review” Season 1, the fictional show moved mountains to find him and ensure his return. Not a critic of art, but a critic of life, Forrest will continue to review all of life’s intense experiences by living through them.

During the panel, an audience member asks, “Why are you coming back to this insane job?” The montage of ridiculous experiences, including a tiger attack, drug addiction, and space exploration gone wrong, made it clear that sound logic was not behind his return. At MacNeil’s expense, he will continue to provide a public service — because although the knowledge he provides may be questionable, “Review” is always good for a laugh.
There is much to look forward to in Season 2. The show returns to Comedy Central on July 30 at 10pm.
