In what’s shaping up to be an eccentric yet formidable cast, Kevin Costner is reportedly in talks to join the cast of Aaron Sorkin’s directorial debut, “Molly’s Game.”

The film is already set to star Jessica Chastain as the titular Molly Bloom, an Olympic would-be who finds her way into a high-stakes, underground poker game, eventually becoming the target of an FBI investigation.

The current cast also includes Idris Elba and Michael Cera, with Sorkin also adapting the memoir of the original Molly Bloom. Costner is in discussion to play Molly’s father.

Coming off 2015’s “McFarland, USA” and “Criminal” from earlier this year, Costner is also expected in the upcoming “Hidden Figures” as Al Harrison, opposite Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monáe.
