“Rugrats,” “Doug,” and “Ren & Stimpy” debuted on Nickelodeon 30 years ago today (August 11). Feel old yet? Cheer yourself up by binge watching these beloved Nicktoons from the ’90s, plus new movies such as “A Quiet Place Part II” and thousands of other TV series and films on Paramount+.

Not signed up for Paramount+? You can join today and enjoy a free seven-day trial. If you’re not familiar with the platform, we put together a breakdown of what TV shows and movies are available on Paramount+ and how much it costs. For sports lovers, fans of cartoons, and anyone looking to break free of cable, Paramount+ is a budget-friendly streaming option.

The platform (formerly CBS All Access) serves up access to live sports, breaking news, tens of thousands of episodes of your favorite shows, along with hit films from CBS, BET, Comedy Central, and other networks under the ViacomCBS umbrella. Additionally, Paramount+ has original movies such as “Infinite” and “The Spongebob Movie: Sponge on the Run,” along with the “Spongebob” spinoff series “The Patrick Star Show,” an “iCarly” revival, and the “Rugrats” reboot.

In addition to “A Quiet Place Part II,” new movies scheduled to hit Paramount+ after a limited theater (or video on demand) release include “Mission: Impossible 7,” “Snake Eyes,” “Clifford the Big Red Dog,” “Top Gun: Maverick,” “Sonic the Hedgehog 2,” “Transformers 7,” “Dungeons and Dragons,” and “Scream.” Other Paramount releases such as “Sonic the Hedgehog,” “Bumblebee,” and “Rocketman,” will be added to the streaming library as well. And Madonna’s new documentary “Madame X” will begin streaming on October 8.

With so many streaming services out there your monthly bill can get pricy, but Paramount+ subscribers can save money in a few different ways. For starters, Paramount+ offers a free seven-day trial, and two-tier payment options for yearly (and monthly) subscriptions starting at just $4.99 a month (or $49.99 a year) to stream with limited ads, 24/7 news, and access to NFL on CBS and Champions League Live.

The “Premium” plan, which is $9.99 a month (or $99.99 a year), gets you everything in the cheaper plan, plus ad-free streaming (except live TV and a few shows), live access to local CBS stations, and you can download your favorite programs to watch later. New customers will save more than 16% off the subscription fee when you sign up for a yearly plan, students get 25% off, and you can cancel subscriptions anytime.

If you enjoy original series, Paramount+ has you covered with “Why Women Kill,” “The Good Fight,” “Star Trek: Picard,” “The Stand,” and more exclusive programming. There are also reboots of “Fairly Odd Parents” and “Frasier” in the works, and a streaming version of “60 Minutes.” For reality TV fans “The Real World Homecoming: New York” seems to be a binge worthy choice with a shot of nostalgia. The series reunites the original cast of “The Real World: New York” nearly 30 years after the show debuted on MTV. You’ll also find episodes of fan favorite “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and “Dragging the Classics: The Brady Bunch.”

And that’s not all. When you sign up for Paramount+ you’ll have access to live-stream local CBS stations (also, your CBS All Access account will work for Paramount+). In the future, the streaming service plans to include Paramount+ Select channels so that subscribers can add Showtime programs to Paramount+ subscriptions.

If you were previously a CBS All Access subscriber, your existing plan should have transferred over to the comparable Paramount+ tier and you can log in with the same credentials. Going forward, you’ll have the option to change levels depending on what level of advertising  — with commercials or ad-free — you prefer.

Over the next two years Paramount+ will add more than 50 original series, which include, “Halo,” “Criminal Minds,” “Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies,” “Yellowstone,” and “SpongeBob SquarePants,” as well as more “Star Trek” series.
