‘The Americans’ Season 6 Trailer: Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys Put an End to One of TV’s Best Dramas

It’s almost time to say goodbye to the Jennings family. “The Americans” is gearing up for its final season, which kicks off at the end of the month, and FX‘s official trailer teases the show should have no problem signing off with one memorable bang. FX has a good track record at nailing final seasons (see “The Shield”), so expectations are sky high for “The Americans” Season 6.

“There’s going to be a new power in the Soviet Union and it’s is going to affect everything,” show creator Joe Weisberg said about the final season. “The political and personal in the show. That will create tensions and problems and issues in the Jennings’ marriage and Jennings family, and it’s going to ripple out in a lot of ways [both] exciting and emotional. The world is changing and the world is going to be changing for our show, too.”

“The Americans” begins its final run of episodes March 28 on FX. Watch the trailer below.
