Watch: Patricia Clarkson Gets the Family Together in Trailer for Dark Comedy ‘Last Weekend’

From “Six Feet Under” to a few of Woody Allen’s flicks to playing Emma Stone’s mom in “Easy A,” Patricia Clarkson is a rare and often underutilized talent. Fortunately, this trailer for the upcoming drama “Last Weekend” looks like a wonderful showcase for the actress.  

Directed by Tom Dolby and Tom Williams, “Last Weekend” takes place over a Labor Day weekend at a wealthy San Francisco family’s summer house in Lake Tahoe. Clarkson plays Celia, the family matriarch who gathers her husband, two adult sons and their partners for a very revealing weekend at the family vacation home. 

“Last Weekend” will have a limited release on August 29th. Check out the trailer below.
