New York Comedy Festival Lineup Announcement: Tracy Morgan, Patton Oswalt & More to Headline

The annual festival will spread out over the five boroughs over three nights.

The New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), presented in association with Comedy Central, has announced its packed lineup of comedians who will make New York laugh when the festival runs from November 1 – 6. For six days, over 200 comedians will perform in more than 60 shows across all five boroughs at some of New York City’s most prestigious venues.

Headliners include Tracy Morgan, Marc Maron and Tig Notaro (who will all perform at Carnegie Hall), along with Dane Cook, Chris D’Elia, Trevor Noah, Patton Oswalt and Tim Minchin (all at the Beacon Theater), Bill Maher at The Theater at Madison Square Garden, Cameron Esposito at NYU’s Skirball Center, Bridget Everett and T.J. Miller at Town Hall, and Eric André, who will take the stage at Carolines on Broadway for a four-night engagement.

“We’re thrilled to have such an amazing group of talented comedians this year,” said Caroline Hirsch, founder and owner of the New York Comedy Festival and Carolines on Broadway. “The festival continues to present the performers at the forefront of comedy, while giving audiences an opportunity to enjoy these great artists in many of the city’s most iconic venues; and with the presidential election taking place the week after the festival, I’m sure there will be no shortage of hilarious commentary on all of the political happenings.”

“I’m very excited about returning to the New York Comedy Festival this year,” said Morgan. “I can’t wait to get on stage at the legendary Carnegie Hall to perform in front of my family, my friends and my home town fans.”

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 5

T.J. Miller – 8 PM – Town Hall

Tracy Morgan – 10:30 PM – Carnegie Hall

Past festivals have included Aziz Ansari, Hannibal Buress, Bill Burr, Louis C.K., Billy Crystal, Whitney Cummings, Larry David, Jim Gaffigan, Ricky Gervais, Kathy Griffin, Kevin Hart, Joel McHale, Andy Samberg, Amy Schumer and Sarah Silverman, among others. The NYCF also plays home to a number of panels that explore the behind-the-scenes creative process, including “Id Isn’t Always Pretty: An Evening with ‘Broad City,’” “A Sit-Down with ‘The Tonight Show’ Writers,” “Clown Panties and Other Unpleasant Truths: An Evening with ‘Inside Amy Schumer,’” and “Keepin’ It 100: An Evening with Larry Wilmore & the Creative Team of ‘The Nightly Show.'”

Tickets for all shows are available to the general public starting August 15 at 10AM EDT.  Tickets can be purchased through the New York Comedy Festival website.
