Watch: Sam Rockwell is Not Contagious and More From ‘Laggies’ TIFF Talk

This week, during the Toronto International Film Festival, Indiewire hosted a series of  “TIFF Talks” at the Festival’s Industry Conference featuring the stars and directors of some of the festivals most talked-about films. Today’s video highlights include actor Sam Rockwell and the director Lynn Shelton of “Laggies,” which first premiered at Sundance 2014.

“Laggies” stars Keira Knightley as Megan, a 28-year-old slacker stuck in a quarter-life crisis. After being proposed to by her high school boyfriend, she panics and runs into rebellious 16-year-old Annika, played by Chloë Grace Moretz. The two bond over the course of the night and Megan takes the opportunity to hide out in her home for a week, where she meets Annika’s attractive single father (Rockwell).
