Watch: Exclusive ' Her Own Words' Trailer Gets Up Close and Personal With Ingrid Bergman

A new trailer has been released for “Ingrid Bergman: In Her Own Words,” and it’s equal parts Hollywood glamour and genuine heart. The documentary, which was an official selection at Cannes this year, brings together private letters, pictures, home videos and interviews with family and friends to paint a detailed portrait of the iconic Swedish actress.

The above trailer provides a brief glimpse into the life of Ingrid Bergman, including her decision to come to America, the scandals that rocked her love life and the staggering legacy she left behind on film. The film includes interviews with her daughter and celebrated actress, Isabella Rossellini.

“Ingrid Bergman: In Her Own Words” screens tonight and tomorrow night at the New York Film Festival, and it will be released theatrically in New York beginning November 13. Watch the trailer above.
