Food Education Doc 'Fed Up' Become Available Every Teacher America
In a healthy bit of news, RADiUS has announced that it has surpassed its ambitious Kickstarter goal to make copies of its celebrated documentary, “Fed Up,” available to every single teacher in America.

The crowd-sourced campaign exceeded its $150,000 goal with time to spare, boasting close to $163,000 in 30 days from over 1,000 backers. The successful campaign is now able to provide willing teachers with English and Spanish copies of the film, a “Fed Up” Food Education kit that includes an exhibition license for unlimited classroom screenings, a 60-minute classroom version of the film and a food health study guide.

Narrated by Katie Couric, “Fed Up” exposes the secrets behind the food industry in an effort to help improve the eating habits of our nation’s children. The film was executive produced by Couric and Laurie David (“An Inconvenient Truth”) and directed by award-winning filmmaker Stephanie Soechtig. “Fed Up” premiered last year at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and enjoyed a successful run on several digital and On Demand platforms.
The film’s Social Action Campaign Director Dan O’Meara has said that over 1,000 teachers have already signed up to receive copies on the website. Educators can sign up for the kit here.
