Set against the backdrop of the Hollywood and East Los Angeles music scene, Tomer Almagor’s feature directorial debut, “9 Full Moons,” chronicles the budding romance between two unlikely people: Frankie, a hard-partying hipster, and Lev, an aspiring musician. Amy Seimetz and Bret Roberts co-star as the two star-crossed lovers.

In these newly released clips from the film, which you can view exclusively below, Seimetz’s character Frankie appears to have a pretty serious drinking problem that Roberts’ character Lev tolerates, but based on his brooding expression and the cigarette he busts out when Frankie makes him pull-over so she can go through Goodwill donations, he is less than thrilled.

“9 Full Moons” premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival earlier this year and opens in select theaters on November 7.
