LGBT drama “Wasp,” the debut feature film from Philippe Audi-Dor, has been acquired for North
American distribution by Breaking Glass Pictures. The film premiered at
the 2015 Boston LGBT Film Festival and stars
Simon Haycock, Elly Condron, and Hugo Bolton.

From the official press statement: “‘Wasp’ is the story of two
lovers, James and Oliver, who open up an old family house in Provence for the
summer. When James’ old friend Caroline unexpectedly joins them their
relationship and sexuality are tested.”

“Wasp” received good reviews after
its press screening in December 2014, with Entertainment Focus applauding its
“strong central performances, interesting and original premise and
stunning direction.”

“I wanted to turn the cliché of the
straight-homo binary around.” said Audi-Dor. For once have a gay character be attracted to the opposite-sex, in order to properly open up a general discussion on the
complexity of sexuality.”

“Wasp” is planned for an August 2015 release on
DVD and VOD.
