“Blunt Talk,” a comedy created for Starz by Jonathan Ames
(“Bored to Death”) and executive produced by Seth McFarlane
(“Family Guy,” “Ted”), debuted another teaser trailer
today. The show, which is the premium cable network’s second
half-hour comedy, was picked up last year for a two-season commitment of 20
episodes.
Patrick Stewart headlines as Walter Blunt, a British
television personality who moves to Los Angeles in order to start a talk show on American cable news, advising viewers on how to properly behave. Complicating matters is Blunt’s off-screen decision-making,
which doesn’t quite live up to the standards of his own show. Stewart stars
alongside Jacki Weaver, Dolly Wells and Timm Sharp. “Blunt Talk” premieres in Summer 2015.
