This year Kristen Stewart stars in Woody Allen’s “Café Society” and Olivier Assayas’ “Personal Shopper.” New images of the actress in both films have been released.
“Personal Shopper” follows Stewart in a ghost story that takes place in the fashion underworld of Paris. The French director’s feature will debut at Cannes Film Festival.

In “Café Society” Stewart plays Vonnie opposite Jesse Eisenberg’s Bobby, a young man who goes to Hollywood during the 1930s hoping to work in the film industry. The project will open the Cannes. Lionsgate will then have a limited lease on July 15, with expansion on July 22 and a full release in July 29. See the new images below:
Stewart is also set to make her directorial debut with the short film “Water,” as part of Refinery29’s ShatterBox Anthology. This new initiative will produce short films from 12 different female directors, writers and animators centered around the theme of power dynamics.
