If what has already come to pass in “Westworld” is a dream, it looks like Season 2 is a full-on invasion.

For anyone who watched the first season of “Westworld” — whether you gleefully devoured the whole thing or found the whole thing a little frustrating — the tease of a part of the park that veered away from the Old West was always going to be one of the big Season 2 hooks.

We still only have a tiny official glimpse of what it looks like. HBO released another full trailer for “Westworld” Season 2, giving viewers a sneak peek of Shogun World in its armored, helmeted glory.

We knew to expect most of this after the show’s memorable SXSW panel, which featured some of this footage. (Elon Musk, predictably, is nowhere to be found.) Much like the clips shown at that panel, this trailer is right back in the what-is-actually-real mindgames.

As they have with most of the Season 2 lead-up, this is focused on familiar faces from before. Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, and James Marsden all pop up. Still no sign yet of Season 2 newcomers Gustaf Skarsgård, Fares Fares, and “Get Out” breakout Betty Gabriel, who have each been promised to be part of the upcoming episodes. (At the very least, the actual show will arrive in about a month and we’ll have actual episodes to talk about and the cast can finally live their lives in peace.)

Until then, watch the full trailer for  Season 2 below:

“Westworld” Season 2, from co-creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, premieres April 22 on HBO.
