The Online Film Critics Society (OFCS) announced that nominees for the 2014 awards will be revealed on December 8, with winners awarded on December 15. Past recipients that went on to take Oscars include “12 Years A Slave,” “Argo,” “The Hurt Locker,” “American Beauty” and “No Country for Old Men.”
“We continue to be awestruck by what filmmakers are achieving in both commercial and independent arenas,” said OFCS Chair Cole Smithey. “Our members all have their favorite films and category choices for films released over the last year and we are looking forward to discovering a consensus to celebrate the best in cinema.”
