Brush up on your Russian for the right reasons: A metric ton of your favorite prestige actors are taking over Amazon to depict Matthew Weiner‘s new anthology series, “The Romanoffs. As seen in the new teaser trailer, they’re all consumed by the question of family — one specific family in particular.

Appropriately scored to a Tchaikovsky track from “The Nutcracker,” this teaser promises “three continents, seven countries, eight stories, one family?” What it also sells, like the first teaser which debuted during the Television Critics Association press tour, is its stacked cast.

Spread out across eight episodes, the official cast list currently includes Isabelle Huppert, Marthe Keller, Aaron Eckhart, Diane Lane, Christina Hendricks, John Slattery, Amanda Peet, Jack Huston, Corey Stoll, Andrew Rannells, Mike Doyle, JJ Feild, Janet Montgomery, Paul Reiser, Noah Wyle, Kathryn Hahn, Kerry Bishé, Jay R. Ferguson, Ben Miles, Mary Kay Place, Griffin Dunne, Cara Buono, Ron Livingston, Jon Tenney, Clea DuVall, Radha Mitchell, Hugh Skinner, Juan Pablo Castañeda, Emily Rudd, Adèle Anderson, Annet Mahendru, Louise Bourgoin, Hera Hilmar, Inès Melab, Michael O’Neill, and David Sutcliffe.

“The Romanoffs” is built to only feature a few of these actors in each episode, with no information as to how they’d be grouped until now. Per Amazon:

Each story takes place in a new location with a new cast. The first episode, “The Violet Hour” stars Marthe Keller, Aaron Eckhart, Ines Melab, and Louise Bourgoin and the second story, “The Royal We,” stars Corey Stoll, Kerry Bishe, Janet Montgomery, and Noah Wyle.

You may notice a bunch of “Mad Men” alumni on the cast list, and that extends behind the scenes, including producers Semi Chellas, Blake McCormick, Andre Jacquemetton, and Maria Jacquemetton. Other producers include Kriss Turner Towner and Kathy Ciric.

New episodes of “The Romanoffs” will roll out weekly on Amazon starting Friday, October 12. Check out the trailer below.
