'Parks and Recreation' and 'Up All Night' Renewed

Following yesterday’s news that “Community” and “30 Rock” would be back for 13-episode seasons on NBC (for Tina Fey’s show, the confirmed final season), the network’s now announced that “Parks and Recreation” has been renewed as well.

The acclaimed ensemble comedy will return for a 22-episode fifth season that will deal with the changes promised in last night’s season finale, which finally revealed the outcome of Amy Poehler’s character’s campaign for city council.

Poehler’s husband Will Arnett got some happy news of his own — his freshman NBC sitcom “Up All Night,” in which he and Christina Applegate play new parents, has also been renewed.
