Watch: Stanley Tucci’s ‘Fortitude’ Brings Pivot Into the TV Drama Game

Created by “Low Winter Sun’s” Simon Donald, Pivot’s first scripted drama uses the U.K. and Iceland as the backdrop for an Arctic town called Fortitude. The polar landscape is changing and a record ice melt threatens to unveil secrets concealed underneath the frozen terrain — including the mysterious murder of a researcher, jeopardizing the town’s prospects of development, wealth and scientific discovery.

Stanley Tucci stars as the detective tasked with solving the murder, joined by Christopher Eccleston, Michael Gambon and Henry Tyson. “Fortitude” is slated for January 2015. Watch the teaser below.
