Watch: Meet Tough Guys and Even Tougher Moms in Exclusive 'Mom and Me' Trailer
In what seems to be the cinematic equivalent of the “Mom tattoo,” “Mom and Me” takes a look at tough guys and the even tougher women who raise them. Set in Oklahoma City, apparently voted the manliest city in the United States, this creative documentary from Irish director Ken Wardrop (“His & Hers”) chronicles the relationships between ten sons and their mothers.
The exclusive trailer above offers an early glimpse at these tender and occasionally troubled relationships. Despite coming from a variety of backgrounds, which range from cowboy preacher to incarcerated inmate to district attorney, each of the son’s stories look to shed light on a softer side of American masculinity.
Visit Films will be selling worldwide distribution rights, excluding Ireland, at the Toronto Film Festival.
