Italian director Andrea Di Stefano‘s (“Life of Pi”) “Escobar: Paradise Lost” premiered at the the Telluride FIlm Festival and is set to make an appearance at both this week’s Toronto Film Festival and the Zurich Film Festival later this month.
The movie highlights the romance that blossoms between a young surfer named Nick (Josh Hutcherson) and Rosa (Claudia Traisac). But things take a turn for the worst when Nick discovers Rosa’s uncle’s dark trade.
