Netflix has been heavily investing in science-fiction programming as of late, from films like “The Cloverfield Paradox” and “Mute” to television series such as “Altered Carbon.” The next sci-fi offering from the streaming giant will target family audiences courtesy of their “Lost in Space” reboot.
“Lost in Space” is a modern reimagining of the classic 1960’s science-fiction series, which ran for three seasons and signed off the air 50 years ago. The series is set 30 years in the future and follows the Robinson family as they work together to survive in a dangerous alien environment. Toby Stephens, Molly Parker, Ignacio Serricchio, and Parker Posey star.
“Lost in Space” will be available to stream on Netflix starting April 13. Watch the official trailer below.
