Vote Project of the Week: Will It Be 'Sylvio,' 'Paper Chase' or 'The Day Before the Wedding'?

[Editors Note: Project of the Week is presented in partnership with Blackmagic Design, one of the world’s leading innovators and manufacturers of creative video technology.]

The winning filmmaker will become a candidate for November Project of the Month. That winner will receive a Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve 12 License and will be in the running for Project of the Year, where the prize will be a Blackmagic URSA Mini 4k camera.

The three projects up for this week’s Project of the Week are listed below (with descriptions courtesy of the filmmakers). You can vote at the bottom of the page. (As we did not have a Project of the Day on Thanksgiving, there are three possible choices instead of the usual four.)

Sylvio: A gorilla struggles to express his humanity, and through a series of mishaps finds himself the unlikely star of a public access TV show.

Paper Chase: When her college dormitory balance is discovered unpaid, Alicia and her hardworking but cash-strapped mom Valerie must find a way to procure the funds.

The Day Before the Wedding: A comedy horror about deer hunting in the Colorado Mountains gone horribly wrong…and inevitably losing your friends once you decide to get married.

Voting will end Monday, November 30 at 11 a.m. ET.

DaVinci Resolve 12 combines professional non-linear video editing with the world’s most advanced color corrector so now you can edit, color correct, finish and deliver all from one system.
Project of the Year: Blackmagic Design will award Indiewire’s Project of the Year winner (announced in January) with one (1) Blackmagic URSA Mini 4k, the world’s first high end digital film camera designed to revolutionize workflow on set.
