Watch: Wonderfully Oddball Trailer 'Rubber' Director Quentin Dupieux's 'Wrong'

One of the most engagingly strange movies of the past year was the killer flick “Rubber.” Brought to life by Quentin Dupieux, the film was a true original, telling the tale of a car tire (yes, a car tire) with telepathic, muderous powers. The movie was a big genre hit and put Dupieux on the map. Well, he’s back once again and headed to Sundance with a brand new film.

His next effort, “Wrong,” has been developing under lock and key, but with the Park City lineup now being announced, a few more details have emerged. The film stars (an awesome looking) William Fichtner, Alexis Dziena and Steve Little and centers around a man who is looking for his lost dog and along the way comes across “a nympho pizza-delivery girl, a jogging neighbor seeking the absolute, and a mysterious righter of wrongs.” The good folks over at Cinemateaser have uncovered the trailer and it’s every bit as bonkers as you might expect, offering up a barrage of enticingly odd glimpses of the film. But one central question comes through all of it: “Why?”

“Wrong” will try to get it all right at Sundance in January. But for now, get a taste of the movie below with the trailer and new stills from the movie in additon to the poster via The Film Stage.
