Do u have a critical parent? My Nose: The Bigger Version, a personal film follows transformation of a mother/daughter relationship.
Elevator Pitch:
I made a comedic award winning short called “My Nose” about my mother’s relentless campaign to get me to have a nose job. That film launched me into being an accidental therapist and teaching people how to deal with a difficult/critical/abusive parent and turn it around. Due the overwhelming response to the short and the audience hunger for more I decided to go deep and open up my life and my secrets along with my mom’s and produce a feature documentary about our life and the transformation of our relationship from hate to late, from Mommie Dearest to Dear Mom.

“John Lennon’s ‘Life is what happens to you when you are busy making other plans.’ is what happened to me. I never expected my difficult childhood to lead me into becoming a motivational speaker and to make a deeply personal film. Due to the response of my short MY NOSE, I saw there are so many people out there hurting & struggling with many issues including low self-esteem, poor body image and carrying around anger at those who have hurt them.
