Sure, everyone from Barack Obama to Cher have participated in a Reddit_AMA, but we were still excited to see that Tom Hanks was doing a Reddit_AMA today. Although he didn’t actively promote his upcoming “Captain Phillips” (which just premiered to positive reviews at The New York Film Festival and will open on October 11), clearly that was his main motivation for doing the “Ask Me Anything” on Monday afternoon.
