Radius-TWC Releases VOD Numbers for ‘The One I Love’ as ‘Snowpiercer’ Passes $6 Million Mark
“The One I Love” grossed an impressive $502,387 on VOD, far eclipsing the film’s theatrical gross of $55,100 (in 9 theaters). The directorial debut of Charlie McDowell, “The One I Love,” which stars Elisabeth Moss and Mark Duplass, is a romantic comedy edging on the absurd. The film premiered earlier this year at Sundance to rave reviews. It also claimed the #4 spot in the list of Top 10 Indies in the iTunes store.

It’s not entirely surprising that the company released the VOD numbers as The Weinstein Company’s boutique label has been ahead of the curve when it comes to sharing VOD box office numbers. Last fall, the company provided some data related to “Man of Tai Chi” for Cinetic Media’s “Multi-Screen Gross.” Earlier this summer, Radius-TWC shared VOD numbers for its docs “20 Feet From Stardom” and “The Unknown Known.”
Meanwhile, “Snowpiercer” has just passed the $6 million mark on VOD with a cumulative VOD gross of $6,000,051, surpassing its theatrical gross of $4,431,000. The film holds the #8 spot in the list of Top 10 Indies in the iTunes store.
