‘Halt and Catch Fire’ Season 3 Trailer: AMC’s Computer Drama Returns Next Month

Ahead of “Halt and Catch Fire‘s” season-three premiere next month, AMC has released a 30-second TV trailer for its well-received drama about the early days of personal computers. Watch it below and harken back to a time when all the world’s knowledge wasn’t easily accessible via your phone.

The pull quote–heavy spot offers little in the way of revealing footage but plenty of praise for the show, which has received largely positive reviews since it first debuted in the summer of 2014. “Halt and Catch Fire” begins in the Silicon Prairie of Texas in 1983 and has inched further into the decade throughout its run.

Lee Pace, Scoot McNairy, Mackenzie Davis, Kerry Bishé, Toby Huss and Aleksa Palladino star in the period drama, which has so far aired 20 episodes across two seasons. Season three, which will likewise consist of 10 episodes, is set to premiere on August 23.
