“In My Father’s House” made its world premiere at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival. Directors Ricki Stern and Annie Sundberg sat down to discuss the documentary with the film’s subjects Che “Rhymefest” Smith and his father, Brian Tillman, at the Apple Store in Soho, Manhattan, for one of Indiewire and Apple’s Tribeca Talks.

The documentary follows musician and activist Che “Rhymefest” Smith on his journey of self-discovery and redemption as he tries to reunite with his estranged father. In the above clip, Smith talks about why he wanted to record his journey.
