Tweetable Logline: An American filmmaker, who has seen far too many romantic comedies, moves to Paris to try to live out his dreams and look for love.
Elevator Pitch: I’m one of those people with an overly developed romantic attachment to Paris. I think it comes from having watched far too many romantic comedies. So of course, I’ve decided to finally move to Paris and chase my dream. I don’t speak a word of French. I don’t know how I’m going to survive. And if I don’t “make it” I’m going to have to move back to my parents’ house in Texas, which to me is a fate worse than death. And I’m taking my camera with me. What could possibly go wrong?

About the film: An American Ginger In Paris is the “sort of” sequel to the critically acclaimed film Being Ginger. It picks up on the personal saga of the director, a self-described hopeless romantic who moves to Paris to chase his dreams. It is a meditation on the universal quest for love and the impact of consuming too many films.
Current Status: Fundraising, ready to start shooting next month.
