Using the narration of one woman’s true story, Huezo traces a young mother as she journeys home after being wrongly accused and locked away in prison for human trafficking. To get home, the woman must make a 1,200 mile journey from Matamoros to Cancún, all while facing inspections by armed men and constant fear. The viewer never sees the protagonist but just hears her voice, as Huezo fills out her story with her own visual and atmospheric imagery.
