Watch: ‘Key & Peele’ Aggressively Spoofs Football Pre-Game Rituals

Comedy Central‘s sketch series “Key & Peele” has mastered the ability to take a situation one step further and find comedy in exaggeration. This clip from their latest episode is no exception, as they take the aggressiveness of pre-game pump-ups and push it to the next level. (For anyone curious, this was the sketch Indiewire saw filmed when it visited the set last fall.)

What starts out as friendly chest-bumps quickly turns south as Key and Peele try to one-up each other with their encouraging sports talk. Watch as the comedic duo goes maybe a little bit overboard to show their commitment to the game. 

“Key and Peele” returns to Comedy Central on July 8.
