Watch: BBC America Brings Up More Questions Than Answers 'Intruders' Trailer

“What goes around comes around,” warns the new trailer for BBC America‘s upcoming series “Intruders,” but it doesn’t so much warn as promise. This thriller series is based on the book of the same name by Michael Marshall Smith about a secret clan in pursuit of immortality by taking over the bodies of others.

From “The X-Files” writer and producer Glen Morgan, “Intruders” stars Mira Sorvino and John Simm as a married couple caught in the middle of the supernatural hijackings. Co-stars include James Frain and Tory Kittles as well as 10-year old newcomer Millie Brown, who seems to embody intensity beyond her years (at least in this trailer).

The bleak, supernatural imagery of the trailer seems to compliment the content of the tale. The labyrinth story this spot teases demands tuning in for the complete version, if for nothing else then to understand the twisted and dark world that “Intruders” inhabits.

Set for an August 23rd premiere, the series is part of the network’s fall slate. Check out the trailer below.
