Amazon has teamed with the young distribution company Bleecker Street for an exclusive subscription agreement.

Under the partnership, all Bleecker Street theatrical releases will have a subscription home at Amazon Prime Instant VIdeo. At no additional cost to Prime members, these films will be available to stream through the Prime Instant Video app for TVs, connected devices, mobile devices and more.

Founded in 2014, Bleecker Street has already been behind a successful 2015 indie in “Danny Collins,” the well-received comedy film starring Al Pacino. Also set for its Amazon debut is “Pawn Sacrifice,” the Bobby Fischer biopic toplined by Tobey Maguire.

“Prime members love independent films and we’re excited to add these compelling Bleecker Street titles to Prime Instant Video,” stated Brad Beale, Vice President of Digital Video Content Acquisition for Amazon. “The high-caliber and growing line-up from Bleecker Street brings an impressive variety of films that we know Prime members will enjoy.”

“As we build out our collection of films, it’s important to us to share the work of these amazing filmmakers with a broad viewing audience,” stated Andrew Karpen, CEO of Bleecker Street. “We look forward to bringing Prime members an entertainment experience we’re sure they’ll love.”

Additional films from Bleecker Street, set to arrive on Prime Instant Video for an exclusive window, include the 2015 Sundance hit, “I’ll See You in My Dreams,” starring Blythe Danner; the family-drama “Captain Fantastic” starring Viggo Mortensen; and the Bryan Cranston-led “Trumbo,” about Hollywood screenwriter Dalton Trumbo.
