American Horror Story Season 6
FX Networks

On Tuesday, FX revealed the new logo for Season 6 of “American Horror Story” via its social media accounts. The image is a red number six, mixed with a question mark – pretty much summing up as much of what we know of the upcoming installment.

Little is known about the sixth season, which seems to be the most top-secret of the anthology series. What is known is that the Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk-created show will be set in the present and include flashbacks. “It’s set in two time periods…but principally in the present,” FX CEO John Landgraf told reporters earlier this year.

In regards to casting, Cheyenne Jackson is the only previous actor who is set to return. He confirmed the news by simply tweeting, “It’s true,” to a story about the casting.

Murphy has also invited Sarah Paulson back, but nothing has been set. She previously told Variety, “Now there’s nothing he [Ryan Murphy] could ask me to do that I would say no to. Ever.” The “AHS” alum has also expressed her interest in returning to Season 2 of Murphy’s other anthology series, “American Crime Story.”

Lady Gaga has also been a fan favorite. After winning her first Golden Globe following her guest appearance in the fifth season of the show, she teased in an interview that she would be back, “I can’t promise you how or when or anything like that.”

So, what’s in store for the Season 6 of “American Horror Story”? Your guess is as good as ours.
