Despite the disappointing reception from fans and critics alike that greeted “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” earlier this year, hope springs eternal among superhero-movie fans. Gal Gadot‘s debut as Wonder Woman was well received in the movie, as was this summer’s trailer for the character’s long-awaited standalone film. Now, to keep that train rolling, there’s a new photo of the Amazonian demigoddess (above).

The picture was shared on Twitter by Zack Snyder, who directed both “Batman v Superman” and “Man of Steel”; he’ll also helm “Justice League,” in which Wonder Woman will likewise appear. The character is celebrating her 75th anniversary this week, an occasion being marked by fans across social media.

Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Lucy Davis Lisa Loven Kongsli, Danny Huston and David Thewlis co-star in the film, which Patty Jenkins (“Monster”) is directing. “Wonder Woman” will be released in theaters on June 2, 2017.
