With the help of host Edward Norton, “Saturday Night Live” turned out a pitch perfect faux trailer for a Wes Anderson horror movie last night that’s one of the best sketches the show’s done in recent memory. “The Midnight Coterie of Sinister Intruders” is a mashup of “The Strangers” and various Anderson characters and tics, and it’s the attention to detail that makes it work — that framing, those montages, Alec Baldwin as the narrator! We’re particularly fond of the note the invaders waft in via paper airplane: “Dear Homeowner: Can we kill you? –The murderers.”
