Watch: Kyle Chandler Has Us Worried Netflix's 'Bloodline' Gets Title & Ominous Teaser

“We’re not bad people, but we did a bad thing.”

That’s as much as we get in the first teaser for “Bloodline,” and it’s almost as much as we know about the upcoming Netflix original series (which didn’t even have a title until today). Starring Kyle Chandler (“Friday Night Lights”), Sissy Spacek and Sam Shepard, the legal thriller set in the Florida Keys focuses on “a close-knit family of four adult siblings whose secrets and scars are revealed when their black sheep brother returns home.”

It was reported earlier that Chandler will play John Rayburn, the middle child who takes care of the family and serves as a foil to his older brother Danny, played by Ben Mendelsohn (“Killing Them Softly”). Mendelsohn excelled at playing a sleazy “black sheep” in the 2013 film with Brad Pitt, and the two should make for compelling leads in the new drama. Spacek and Shepard play Robert and Sally Rayburn, likely the parents of the four grown children, while Linda Cardellini (“Mad Men,” “Freaks and Geeks”) will also play one of the siblings. (Again, we don’t know a lot about this drama.)

Netflix announced today the series will debut all 13 episodes of its first season in March 2015. “Bloodline” was created by Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman and Glenn Kessler, all of whom also created the FX drama “Damages” and are serving as executive producers on “Bloodline.” Watch the first teaser below.
