Le CiNéMa Club Presenting Sebastian Silva’s Short Film 'Dolfun' Free Online, Along With More Movies This Season

At this year’s Sundance Film Festival “Nasty Baby” filmmaker Sebastian Silva presented his short film “Dolfun.”

The project, narrated by Ben Harper, starts as a love story that becomes an existential crisis when Silva flies to Miami to fulfill his lifelong dream of swimming with a dolphin. Now, thanks to Le CiNéMa Club, fans of the director and screenwriter can watch the short online, which might be the only occasion to see it.

For those who don’t know much about Le CiNéMa Club, it is an online portal that presents one film every Sunday, for one week, for free. Its focus is to celebrate a new generation of filmmakers, showcase rare or undistributed films and highlight great independent cinema from around the world. For each screening, the site provides background info on the directors and their projects.

In the past the site has featured the work of helmers such as Kenneth Anger, Pippa Bianco, Antonio Campos, Thomas Cailley, Benjamin Crotty, Sean Durkin, Christophe Honoré, Louis Garrel, Yann Gonzalez, Spike Jonze and many more.

Silva is a Chilean writer, director and producer known for “The Maid,” “Magic Magic,” “Crystal Fairy & the Magical Cactus,” among others. “Dolfun” will show from this Sunday for a week.
