With New York City as a backdrop to Mark’s unique story, “Homme Less” explores the disappearing middle class in America, as well as the hardship of living in a competitive city like Manhattan. A portion of all theatrical and ancillary proceeds will be donated to HELPUSA, an organization committed to ending homelessness through housing, prevention and shelter.
“This film is a unique look at the life of a homeless person, in that Mark is
a charismatic, individual who remains fully integrated in society, but lives on a rooftop in SoHo,” said HELPUSA’s Maria Cuomo Cole. “The idea that he is
living on the margins of society, is a wake up call to the issue at hand and that it is not an issue of ‘us’ and ‘them,’ it is
truly all of us. I am pleased to be involved with this film and thankful that the audience will be able to see first hand
how wide reaching the issue of homelessness is.”
